Another Lost Tooth!

Megan lost her front tooth today! She was so excited that she lost it on the first day of summer. I was explaining to her that she needs to take very good care of her new tooth that is growing in because it is the tooth that she will have forever. I told her it is an adult tooth. So guess who thinks she's an adult now....you guessed right - the Meganator!

Busy with crafts...again

After taking a small vacation from my sewing machine, I decided to pull it out this week and work on a few projects I have been wanting to do! Our playroom has been feeling a bit boring in the decor department so with the help of Megan & Daniel we are doing a playroom makeover. We covered our Ikea table with fabric (see pic below), made some curtains, and have been working on a few art projects and display items. It's been fun to work with the kids and I love having projects that keep them busy. It's so darn hot outside that we are stuck inside most of the time. When the room is complete I will post some pics.
I am always making the girls matching jumpers and skirts for church and Daniel always asks me, "What about me?" Here's what I made for Daniel this week. He's gonna look so handsome this summer sporting his new brightly colored ties. I asked him which one was his favorite and he told me ALL OF THEM!

Front Door Visitors

I guess I have a very welcoming front porch. It seems that just about every time I go to open the front door I find some sort of a visitor greeting me. The other day Steen came home and found a lizard on the door. Last night we came home from the store and found a turtle basking in the sun on our porch. We've found crickets, toads, and tree frogs as well. It kind of spooks me out cause I don't know who will be there to greet me the next time I open the door to take the trash out!

Nine Years!

I can't believe I've been married for 9 years! It's not everyday that a girl goes off to college in Idaho and meets a boy from her same town with the her same last name! Every year just keeps getting better and better. I am one lucky girl to have Steen forever!

A visit from Grandma & Grandpa!

Grandma and Grandpa just left and boy did we have a wonderful visit! We kept busing with lots of activities like going swimming in the pool, hanging out on the beach, going pontoon boating, and going to one of the local state parks. The girls got a little shopping in which was super fun too! We had a super visit with Grandma and Grandpa Billett and are so glad that they came all the way to FL to visit us. We miss them already!

Here's Grandpa dipping his white legs in the pool!
Here's the girls on the pontoon out in the bay.
Daddy and Natalie on beautiful Shell Island.
I found this crab in the water and wanted to get a pic with it!
Megan driving the boat with Grandpa at her side.
We went alligator hunting at Gator Lake. Daniel's gator shirt must have scared them all away cause we didn't see any gators!
Here's the kids with the Gator Lake behind them. Out on the pier at St. Andrews Bay. Such a pretty view! We had a great visit with you Grandma and Grandpa. I think we may have to make this a yearly tradition....!
