Party Time!

On December 17th we went to our friends birthday party at out local skating rink. It was Megan's first time skating and she had a great time and did really well at it!
Here are some of the kids from the party with a weird looking Mickey Mouse that was walking around.

Concert Time!

Each of the kids had school Christmas concerts this December. Daniel had his during the day with is Pre-K class. They sang a few songs and then showed us some projects they made for the holidays. It's always fun to go to school and see what the kids have been working on. Daniel looked so handsome that I had to get a pic of him before school.
Megan's concert was in the evening and she performed with the whole first and second grade classes. They were a sight to be seen and sang some very nice holiday songs. Megan looked so cute up there and did a great job singing for us. We are proud of her for sure!

It's Soccer Season Again!

Another season of soccer is upon us. Steen is coaching Daniel's U6 boys team and assistant coaching Megan's U8 girls team this season. We are keeping busy on the fields each Tuesday and Saturday for several hours it seems. Natalie and I love cheering for our little soccer players and are very proud of Steen, Megan, and Daniel.

Blast from the past: January 6, 2008

Yesterday Steen and I were organizing some of our old pictures and videos and we came across this video. We had all the kids laughing and I must say I miss those days with the small kids. They were so adorable! And Daniel had the chubbiest little cheeks!

Back to school!

Monday was the kids first day of school. They've been excited for a few weeks now anticipating the first day. It finally arrived. We were all a little tired from getting up so early to get everyone off and onto the bus - but overall everyone had a very great day! They both came home with lots of fun facts all about what there day was like - new teachers, friends, and things to do at school! And I better not forget to mention how great the bus ride was - especially for Daniel! We are excited for yet another year of school. And while Mommy is missing the kids, her and Natalie are enjoying the peace and quiet at home! Also, shopping with one child is a lot easier than taking all three! I think I may be able to get used to this!

End of the season for Daniel

Last week Daniel finished his very first season of soccer! He had a lot of fun and learned a lot about the sport. Sometimes Daniel was on fire and was a great player and other times he just ran around the field like a confused chicken! We are proud of Daniel and are looking forward to many more seasons of soccer for this little guy!

Soccer

The kids are still playing soccer and are having a great season. They both only have two games left. I realized I haven't been taking very many pictures of them playing this season. So I've made a goal to bring my camera to their last few games and hopefully get a few pics.

Happy Birthday D!

Daniel turned 4 years old on March 24th! We had a fun and very busy day. He started off the day with chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast, I gave him a birthday haircut, he took a big bubble bath and got to watch one of his favorite cartoons. For lunch we had two of his best buddies met up with us for some pizza and ice cream at a friends ice cream shop. The boys had a great time hanging out and eating together for Daniel's big day. We then came home and opened presents as a family and were off to the soccer field for team pictures and a game. After soccer we came home for cake and ice cream and then it was off to bed. Daniel had a wonderful fun filled day and is very excited to be a BIG 4 year old now!

Daniel's 1st Soccer Game!

Daniel had his first soccer game on Thursday night. It was a blast! If you ask him, he'll tell you that he scored 5 GOALS when in all actuality he scored ONE! He had a great time and it sure is fun to watch all the three and four year old running in all directions on the field during the game! We are in for a fun season. Go DINOSAURS!!

We love cookies!

We love to make cookies at the Jensen house. I try to find every excuse to whip up a batch. We recently got new neighbors and I thought they would enjoy a plate of goodies from us. (There's my excuse!) Daniel was my little helper and did a great job at putting the M & M's on top of the cookies. While we were making them he asked, "Mom, aren't you going to take some pictures of me baking cookies?" So as per Daniel's request, here are some pics of my little baker Daniel!

Baseball Season - Over!

Last week the kids had there last baseball practice and small game. They have learned a lot over the last 6 weeks and have had a lot of fun being on the same team. We may have some future little baseball players on our hands. After the game the kids received balls, bats, gloves, and medals. They thought it was pretty awesome.

For you Mom

Megan and my Mom are pen pals. She put this post card for Daniel in Megan's letter that we got last week. Daniel loves getting mail and he wouldn't let go of his new letter for about 2 days. On the day he got it, he fell asleep with it in his hand. I thought it was precious and I had to post this picture for you Nana!

Take me out to the ball field

Daniel and Megan started baseball last week. They are doing a 7 week program on base and had a great first practice! It's really fun to have them enrolled together.
