A fun visit!

This morning we had a very fun visit from Nana, Grandma Billett, my sister Emily and her little (or should I say big) guy Jensen! This was Daniel's first time meeting his cousin so that was a lot of fun to see him interacting with him! Emily also hadn't seen Daniel since October. She was shocked with how much he has changed! We had a great morning together and can't wait to spend more time with Emily and Jensen during the next month that they are here visiting.

During our visit Grandma Billett gave Megan a whole bunch of jewelry. We just had to snap a shot of her modeling all of her new treasures!
Megan also got to spend a few days at my parents house last week. She was there when Emily and Jensen arrived. Megan was such a big helper and I hear she did such a great job at taking care of her cousin. I think she is going to be a big helper when her new little sister arrives!

Today Megan and I were able to go over to my friend Kristen's house to see her pony and horses. Megan had the time of her life. On the way home Megan asked me if
Daddy could get her a pony that is "just my size" for her birthday. I think a plastic my little pony toy is going to have to do - for now at least!

Spring Break - Bellingham & Seattle

Last week we decided to take one last hurrah trip before the baby comes and we went up to Bellingham to visit my best friend Janet and her hubby Joe. We had so much fun!! Janet and I got lots of craft projects done. It was so great!! The kids had fun with Mimi while the girls stayed busy with our projects.

After our trip to Bellingham we went to Seattle for the day to meet up with The Stephens and The Flores. We had some yummy lunch on the waterfront and checked out Pike Place Market.

The weather was beautiful in Seattle!

We had a great time visiting with all of our friends up North. Now we are done traveling until baby comes - so if you want to see us, you're going to have to come to Vancouver!!

Worms anyone?

Yesterday we decided to take advantage of the the lovely weather. I think we reached 78 in Vancouver. It was so nice. We all have pink cheeks now! Anyways, we got some much needed yard work done. Steen mowed the front and back lawns and we both weeded and trimmed things around the yard. Our yard looks nice and ready for spring now! We let the kids loose in the yard and they had tons of fun!

My Little Chef...

The other day Daniel really wanted to help me in the kitchen. I put a girly apron on him (guess I need to make him a manly one) and we made some pancakes and eggs for dinner. He was such a cute little helper and he was so proud of himself!
