Jensen Tour 2008

After 2,500 miles of driving in 5 states, almost 1,000 pics and lots of fun with the family, we just got back from Jensen Tour 2008. We Jensens got together and rented a big cabin in Island Park, Idaho and spent 9 days together having fun and seeing the sites of Yellowstone, Island Park area, The Grand Tetons, Jackson Hole, Rexburg, and Craters of the Moon. Here are a few pics that highlight our trip together.

Our little Ballerina

I just got done making this adorable ballerina tutu for Megan. She just LOVES it!! As soon as she put it on she started twirling & jumping around and even tried doing a few toe touches and the splits! If you want to make one for your little future ballerina, click here for the tutorial that I used to make the tutu. Note: I used 5 yards of tulle, not 3 like suggested.

Mt. St. Helens

On Saturday we decided to take a quick afternoon trip up to Mt. St. Helens. It was a beautiful clear day and we just couldn't resist jumping in the car and heading up to the mountain! We went up to the north side of the mountain to Johnston Ridge. We took Anton (Steen's brother) with us and we all had a great time!

Baseball & Blueberries

Today the kids played baseball in Steen's Mom's backyard in the afternoon. Megan and Daniel both did great and had lots of fun. They had lots of Aunts and Uncles along with Mom and Dad to coach them and show them how it's done. After getting pooped out from all the baseball we picked some blueberries and had a good time spending time with all the family in the Jensen backyard!

4th of July Fun

We had a great 4th of July. We spent most of the day at Steen's Dad's condo. He has a place down on the waterfront where they have the HUGE Fort Vancouver fireworks display. We basically played the Wii, watched movies, and ate all day until it was time to watch the show at 10pm. We all had a great time with Steen's family and are looking forward to hopefully doing this again next year!

I think they call this fireworks display the biggest one West of the Mississippi. It sure is a good show.
