Bike rides and Beach days

Nash and Natalie loved going on a few bike rides in the trailer with Andrew as the driver. They are so cute together!
The beach was awesome while Andrew and Keali were here. We couldn't have asked for better weather considering it was the last week of December. Nash could live on the beach. That boy just loves the sand so much!

Beach Time!

Yes, this is a picture of my kids at the beach in there swimsuits in late November. We have been very lucky to have such great weather this late into the year. Anton and Far Mor timed there trip nicely and were both able to enjoy the sun and sand with us as well!

September Days @ the Beach

We are learning that September and October are the most fabulous months of the year around here! The tourists have gone, the beaches are clean and quiet, and the weather is amazing! We have been enjoying spending time on the beach and the pier at the end of our road. We will never get sick of this place!

A super fun weekend!

We had a great past weekend with lots of fun, family, and memories. It all began with Katie's 30th birthday on Thursday. Katie had a great day and felt very loved and spoiled by her family and friends. The day got even better when Andrew, Keali and Nash came for a weekend visit from Atlanta. It was our first time meeting Nash. He is such a sweet little guy! We spent the weekend eating great food, spending lots of time at the beach & pool, and hanging out with each other. Here are a few pics of the weekend happenings!

Beach bum!

We've been trying to go to the beach at least once a week now that school is out. The kids always seem to drag there feet about going cause it's either too hot or they don't want to get sandy. And when it comes time to leave they are upset about going cause they are having way to much fun! Go figure! But little Natalie just loves the beach and almost everything about it. She loves playing in the sand, chasing the little sand pipers, and being with her friends! Sometimes she's scared of the waves, but once she feels the warm water she likes to dip her toes into it and let the waves crash up on her legs. Natalie is definitely our little Florida beach bum.

Memorial Day at the beach!

Steen's been out of town on business for the last three weeks so we decided to celebrate his arrival home by spending some family time on the beach yesterday! We had a great time and the kids and I are so glad to have our Daddy home. The weather was perfect and we all had a great time playing in the sand and the waves.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! While many of you were sledding in the snow we enjoyed spending some time at the beach before the turkey went in the oven. We had a great time with the family and of course had some delicious food which made for a great Thanksgiving Day! We hope you had a wonderful holiday too!

This N That...

We've been super busy the last few weeks. We've moved, unpacked, been busy with soccer, school, baby showers and birthday parties. The list could go on. Things are great though. We love our new house, the neighborhood, and the ease of getting Megan to and from school now. But just when you think that things are going to slow down a bit, the phone rings with someone needing something or you just look to next weeks calendar and you're busy again. That's ok though - being busy is good and it keep us Jensens out of trouble!

As we were unpacking the kids had a great time building a fort made of boxes.
Daniel called it his pirate ship and Megan called it her princess castle.
SOCCER - Tanner and Steen are doing a great job coaching the Purple Unicorns this season.
Megan getting ready to kick the ball in.
Here's 6 of the 8 Purple Unicorns. Aren't they so cute?!
Here's my favorite of them all.
Steen had the day off today so in honor of him and Megan being home we decided to head for the beach. We had a great time despite the water being a little green with algae. And Megan just loves the beach. She's a Florida beach babe for life!
The kids always make Tanner dig them holes in the sand.
Natalie loves the beach almost as much as Megan and Daniel. She's too cute for words!

Greyton Beach

Yesterday we went to the beach with some friends and had a great time. We were able to do lots of swimming, kayaking, and sandcastle building. The weather was just right and the water temp was warm yet refreshing. We didn't take very many pics, but here are the few that we did get.

Here's Uncle Tanner with Natalie soaking up some rays!
Daniel loves hanging out in the shallow water looking at the
fish swim by and occasionally they even come and nip his toes!
Megan with her friend Sadie going for a swim.
Here's Katie & Tenley coming in from a boat right out to the second sandbar. Us Momma's even went for a swim out there. And when we came in the kids of course had to jump on the boat and ride in with us!
Megan loves swimming with her goggles on through the waves! I think next year we're gonna have to get all of us some snorkeling gear.

Best day at the beach!

Yesterday we spent a good chunk of the day at the beach with some friends. The water was crystal clear, the temperature was perfectly warm, and the sun was shinning bright. We couldn't have asked for a better day at the beach!

Charlotte's Web at Seaside

On Monday we went and saw Charlotte's Web at Seaside. In my opinion the one we saw last week was better, but that's ok! The kids enjoyed Templeton the rat and of course Wilbur the pig the most. The kids had fun and especially loved running up and down the hillside afterword with there friends!
