Best day at the beach!

Yesterday we spent a good chunk of the day at the beach with some friends. The water was crystal clear, the temperature was perfectly warm, and the sun was shinning bright. We couldn't have asked for a better day at the beach!

Best friends at the beach having a great time together!

Charlotte's Web at Seaside

On Monday we went and saw Charlotte's Web at Seaside. In my opinion the one we saw last week was better, but that's ok! The kids enjoyed Templeton the rat and of course Wilbur the pig the most. The kids had fun and especially loved running up and down the hillside afterword with there friends!

Forever 29!

Yesterday I turned 29! It was a fun filled busy day for us! I received lots of birthday calls, messages, and gifts and greatly appreciate it all. I am so lucky to have such wonderful family and friends. Here's to being forever 29!!

We went out for dinner at a yummy Mexican restaurant and came home for cake and ice cream.
I think most of Daniels cake was on him instead of being eaten by him!
Notice anything missing? Yes, behind all those chocolate cake crumbs you'll notice that Megan lost another tooth! She thought it was so cool to loose a tooth on Mommy's birthday.
(the tooth fairy was so pooped out after having such a busy day that she forgot to come last night! hopefully she'll remember tonight!)

A play at Watercolor

Last night we went out with some friends and saw a play at Watercolor. We saw The Fisherman and His Wife. The kids loved it and laughed the whole time. The three actors did a great job at keeping the audience entertained throughout the show. After it was over we went on a walk through the park and went over the bridge and into one of the neighborhood areas. I felt like we were walking through a page of the magazine Coastal Living! It was beautiful! I wish I would have taken pics. We are definitely going to go back and explore the area very soon.

Here's the kids watching the show.

The park that was surrounding the ampatheatre was gorgeous.
Megan spotted this bench and had to get a pic!

Sunshine and a Birthday!

This week we have been very busy getting ready for Uncle Tanner to come! My brother Tanner moved in with us and we are excited to have him here. Since he arrived we have been spending lots of time at the beach and in our pool. Tanner really loves it here and says he can easily get used to living the Florida life! Wednesday was his birthday and we had a fun birthday dinner and party for him!

Daniel loves swimming with Tan in the pool.
Big lobster eyes!
Birthday dinner for Tanner! He requested that I make him crepes with chocolate pudding, strawberries, and whipped cream. It was super yummy!
Time for cake and ice cream!
At the end of everyday the kids crash at about 8pm

Here's Megan with two of her friends on the beach looking at all the fireworks. Everyone goes down to the beach to light off there fireworks. It was really crazy...and fun!

Let the festivities begin!

This evening we went to a big 4th of July event that was on the Navy Base that Steen works at. It's been rainy all week, but we decided to brave the wet weather and hope for the best. We are glad that we did! On the way to the event, we went to good old Wally World and bought a new camera (yipee) and here's some pics that we took tonight.

The kids got to play in lots of different bounce houses and go down two slides!
They loved there 3D glasses and felt very patriotic while wearing them.
Megan got her face painted. She wanted an American Flag heart.
Look at that adorable toothless smile!
Waiting for the big show to begin. We got a little wet, but had lots of fun.
Here's Daniel and his green dinosaur.
And here's Mommy and Natalie. Natalie was a little confused about my new colorful glasses.
Here's a shot of the fireworks with the beautiful reflection on the bay.
What a night! It was no Fort Vancouver display, but we had
lots of fun and can't wait to go again next year!

One year!

Today marks the day that my partents have been serving as Mission President of the Philippines Baguio Mission for OnE yEAr! A little this and a little that...

It's been raining buckets this week so we've spent a lot of time getting things done around the house and finding things to do inside. We went to the library yesterday which is always fun for the kids and we've had two indoor playdates. It's been a good week so far! I'm just hoping the rain will let up so we can enjoy our little 4th of July BBQ outside! Here's a few pics I've taken in the last few days with my phone. Our camera is broken and we haven't gotten a new one yet!

Daniel looked very handsome for church on Sunday sporting his new plaid shirt and homemade polka dot tie! Steen said that we should have put suspenders on him and then we would have looked like a clown!
Natalie loves sitting in the toy bins. She's teething right now so she is drooling lots and chewing on everything!
Megan lost her other front tooth this week. She talks with a slur and she looks so adorable!
