New baby quilt

I haven't pulled out my good ol' sewing machine for quite a while and I got the sewing bug the other day. Here's what I made. I am so happy with the finished product. I'm pretty sure it's going to be for Baby Jensen! She will love it! I'm glad to say that I now can cross off one more project on my unfinished list!

A Fun & Busy Week...

We have had a very fun and busy week! We started off the week with a play group on Monday morning that was really fun! Then we got a little bit of snow that night. The kids have been loving our white winter this year. We have had a little bit of a sweet tooth in the Jensen house this week (ok, so maybe Katie the pregnant lady has been wanting the sweets...) so the kids and I have been doing some baking! We attended a few other play groups this week and Megan went to a really fun Princess tea party on Thursday. Then today (Friday) Steen and I were able to go to a movie and dinner for our Valentines Day date. On Saturday Steen has two basketball games and he has to help someone move into our neighborhood. I guess it's good that we have been keeping so busy cause it keeps us out of trouble! Will life ever slow down, probably not, but that's ok. I like keeping busy!

Daniel loves Star Wars. We have been making him light sabers out of clippos and he has lots of fun pretending to be Darth Vader or Yoda.
Megan and I baked heart shaped sugar cookies for a Valentines Day play group we attended this week. Yummy!

Megan even got to decorate and take home a heart shaped cake from the tea party. We enjoyed eating it that night as a family and Megan was very proud of her decorating skills!
