Happy 3rd Birthday Daniel!!

Yesterday, March 24th Daniel turned 3! He's so excited to be a big 3 year old now. We had a fun and busy day filled with lots of phone calls, presents, and friends!

Megan just had to give Daniel the present she got him first thing in the morning.
I let the birthday boy lick the bowl of leftover cake batter. He loved every lick!
Daniel with his bug cake. Everyone loved it - bugs and all!
Daniel got lots of fun toys, book, and clothes for his birthday. Thanks everyone!
Last but not least Daniel got a new bike for his birthday. Since it was dark outside we let him ride around the house for a few minutes. He hasn't quite figured it out yet, but he'll catch on soon I'm sure!

Happy Birthday Daniel. We love you!

We love to help!

On Tuesday night Steen was unloading the dishwasher and by the time he was about done with it he had everyone helping him. It was so cute!!

Quilts Galore!

With birthdays and babies on the way, I have been sewing away.

This is Daniel's new twin sized bedroom set I am giving him for his birthday. I made him two matching throw pillows, a valence, and a matching pillowcase to complete the set. He's gonna love the car theme.
With the left over pieces from Daniel's quilt and I was to make this baby quilt for Andrew & Keali's baby boy who's due in June.
And this is for my best friend Janet & Joe. They are adopting a baby girl from Ethiopia in the next few months. I love this pattern and it's so easy too!

Happy St. Patricks Day!

Happy St. Patricks Day! We started off the day at the library for reading time. The kids had a great time learning all about St. Patrick and facts about Ireland. They also got to make some crafts and sing songs. And tonight I am going to make Colcannon for dinner. It should be good. Hope you all are wearing green today!

Sunday Best!

The kids looked so happy and cute on Sunday morning so I took a few pics of them!

Let the season begin...

This past weekend Megan participated in a soccer jamboree on Friday night and then played in her very first game on Saturday morning. We are so proud of our little soccer star. We also kind of really like the coach too!

Megan's team is the DOLLphins. Don't you just love the hair clip one of the Mom's made?
We're in for a fun season!

We have been busy with soccer, playgroups, and just about all of us have had a dental appointment this week. Tonight Megan has a soccer Jamboree and pizza party and tomorrow she has her first game. (Check back for soccer pics tomorrow) Then were off to a birthday party and in the evening we're having friends over for dessert and games. Life is always busy, but that's what we like! Here's a few pics of what we've been up to lately.

My parents sent us a package from the Philippines full of clothes, treats, and movies. Here's the girls showing off there new outfits.
Here's Daniel with his new Bumblebee shirt and his lovely purple bruise on his forehead.
Natalie is getting more and more mobile. She is now pulling herself up onto everything she can get her hands on!
Megan gave her first 1 minute talk in primary on Sunday. Here's what she wore. She looked pretty darn cute, huh?
I was picking the onions out of Daniel's dinner last night and when I went to give him his plate back and this is what I found.
Here's Natalie on the move again. She is my little shadow everywhere I go. She been trying to climb the stairs. Looks like I am going to need to get the baby gates out!
