Pool Party!
Last week for my birthday Steen and the kids got me a new pool for the backyard. We've had a heatwave this week so it has definitely come in handy here at the Jensen house. The kids and I are having tons of fun hanging out in the backyard these days. Here are a few pics that I took this morning.

Doctor Visits
The results are in - Natalie just had her two month appointment.
This little girl only weighs 8 pounds 11.5 ounces (10th percentile) but she is 24.5 inches long (95th percentile). So she really is tall and skinny like I predicted. The doctor said she is doing great though. We just love our little Natalie. - - - - - -
As for me...
I just went to the eye doctor for an exam yesterday and found out that I need to get glasses! They'll be ready in about 4 weeks, so if you notice something new about me next month - it'll be my new cute frames!

Florida...
This past week Steen spent a few days in Panama City, Florida for a job interview with the Department of Defense. He had a great experience and really got a good feel for the community while he was there. Now Steen just needs to pass security clearance. Once that is done we are expecting to move in September sometime. We are up for the adventure and are looking forward to a new change in our lives! For all of you who have been wanting to go on vacation to Florida - now is your chance. The Jensens will have plenty of room in our new place to house visitors!

Depoe Bay
This past week we went to the Oregon Coast (again) this time with Steen's Mom and his siblings Anton, & Elina. We rented a nice beach house in Depoe Bay and had a great time shopping at the Lincoln City outlet malls, exploring several different beaches and best of all building a HUGE sandcastle.

Megan and her new little mermaid named Pearla.

Still in the making.....but getting closer!
Daniel loved playing in the sand all day!

It took about 1 1/2 hours to make the sandcastle.

This week we went camping with my grandparents up to Nehalem Bay State Park. The weather was beautiful (most of the time) and we had a great trip. Grandpa and Steen were able to go crabbing each morning and always brought home about a dozen crabs a day. Steen has been in heaven eating all the crab and coming up with new recipes to use crab in! We hope to go on a few more camping trips this summer because the kids did great and we all had a blast!

We had some trees in our site and Megan just insisted climbing them with her helmet on!
This is Natalie all cozy and ready for bed.

Here's Grandma Billett, Katie, Megan & Daniel sitting by the fire getting ready to make some s'mores.
Steen was a pro at crabbing and had lots of fun doing it!
The crabs don't know what's coming....a pot full of boiling water!
Grandma & Steen getting ready to clean the crabs and get them ready for picking.

Dinner with the Missionaries!
Tonight we had the missionaries over for dinner. Megan has been wanting to have them over now that Nana, Opa, and Tanner are all missionaries. We fed them some yummy food and talked all about what life as a missionary is like. Pretty fun!! Oh and today at church Megan bore her testimony for the very first time during sacrament meeting. It was so sweet.
4th of July!
We had a really nice and layed back 4th of July. Steen and I dropped off the kids at his Mom's house and were able to run some errands in preparation for our upcoming camping trip. When we got back to her house we just hung out, went on a bike ride, and had a delicious dinner and a fireworks display put on by none other than Steen!

Friday Fun with The Stephens
On Friday The Stephens came down from Shelton for the day. It was there first time meeting Natalie! The kids of course had lots of fun being wild and crazy together while Rebecca and I had a great time attempting to carry adult conversation with each other, and Drew and Steen were able to go hiking in the Columbia River Gorge. We had a super day and are so lucky to have such great friends!

Megan and Abbie just loved playing dress up. They even switched clothes with each other. You'll notice that Megan is wearing Abbie's clothes in a later pic!
It was at least 90 degrees out on Friday so we just had to get out the kiddie pool and sprinklers.
Here's the gang - Daniel, Abbie, Megan, & Lauren

Here's even more of the gang - the only ones missing are Steen and Drew.
Rebecca got her baby fix by holding Natalie every second she could!
Here is one of the falls the boys saw while on there hike. It's called Ponytail Falls. I really like this pic that Steen took. Here's another pretty one that Steen took. They had to hike through the water to get to Oneonta Falls.
Here is Steen at upper Oneonta Falls.
We sure had a great time with The Stephens on Friday!!
