All Dressed Up for Church

I hope all of you had a great Christmas! The Jensens sure did! This year was different from other years for us. The weather prohibited us from doing things we normally would have done, but it was fine. It was nice to have a very white Christmas. I think we had a total of about 15" on the ground at one point, maybe more. It was beautiful to look at and play in, but not to drive in.
Church was cancelled last week, so today we had our Christmas program. It was wonderful. Megan and Daniel looked so cute all dressed up in new outfits. We were able to grab a few pics of the kids and still manage to make it to church early! Next year might be another story having to get three kiddos ready and photographed!!

Welcome Baby Jensen!

Emily and newborn Jensen!
What a little cutie!
Daddy Golden and baby Jensen - all ready to go home!
Thanks to my little sister - I am finally an Aunt, Steen is an Uncle, and my children now have a Cousin!

Jensen Charles Tawzer was born today, December 19th at about 10:30am. He weighed 7 lbs 13 oz and was 19.5 inches long.

From the sounds of it Emily had a fairly easy and quick delivery! Emily, Golden, and little baby Jensen are doing great!

More Snow!!

On Wednesday it snowed and snowed and snowed! We even got a little more today and there is still much more to come in the 7 day forecast. Hopefully we will have a white Christmas! This is unlike the Northwest, but we are loving it! The kids had fun sledding around the neighborhood. I guess we should have bought them snow pants this year, but we didn't think we were going to need them. Today we went to Target and they were just about sold out. I guess we learned our lesson for next year....always be prepared!

Fun in the snow!

It snowed!!

Yesterday we had our first batch of snow for the season. After church the kids went out a played for a little while. Daniel didn't know what to think and Megan thought it was just the best! She especially loved making snowballs and attempting to throw them at us!
Daniel scooted on his rear end all over the edge of the yard! I have no clue why? Maybe he was attempting to make those lovely pink hand-me-down pants of his get dirty or something?
Megan also tried making a snow angel on top of some soil bags Steen has in the backyard. Yes, my children are a bit crazy sometimes!

Update!!

My Mom snatched Megan away for a few days last week because I have been so busy lately. Daniel had lots of fun being an only child! He helped me sweep the floors and do other chores - he also loved playing with all of his toys without the interruption of Megan destroying his creations!
Daniel with his car garage and animals - his favorite!
Megan was also able to help Grandma and Grandpa Billett cut down a Christmas tree last weekend at a tree farm that is just down the road from us. She had a great time helping them pick out the perfect tree.

Megan just looked so cute before church last Sunday that I had to take her pic!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

So we have been busy around here the last few weeks! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at my parents house. All the boys of course played football the morning of Thanksgiving and had a great time. They came home all muddy and cold, but said it was worth it! Now that Thanksgiving is over we are in Christmas mode around here. This week we put up our tree, house lights and the rest of the holiday decorations. It's looking like Christmas around here and we love it!

Megan had a great time helping Steen put up the lights on the house!
This is what Megan and Daniel call decorating the tree...apparently they thought the ornaments went all in one spot. When they went to bed, Steen and I had to do some rearranging.
More decorating!
Daniel putting up his very first ornament with the help of Daddy of course.
