Happy Birthday Daddy-o!

Happy birthday Opa! We hope you have a fantastic day celebrating your birthday in the Philippines. We think you should eat some balut to celebrate! We love you!

Happy Halloween!

Last night we went trick-or-treating with some friends at Pier Park. It was a little crowded, but the kids had a great time going from shop to shop. It was fun to see every one's costumes and be out with friends!

Everyone thought Natalie made the cutest little chicken ever. We thought so too!
Here's the gang when we got home. We sure did have lots of fun!

A visit from Janet and Elyana

This past week we had some visitors come all the way from Washington to see us! Janet and her new baby Elyana came and boy did we have a great week together. We hadn't seen each other for about 18 months and lots has happened and changed since we last saw each other. It was a great visit and we definitely had TONS OF FUN! Here's a few pics of what we did.

We went swimming in the pool a few times.
We of course went to the beach.
We went out to lunch.
We went out on one of the piers.
I got to spend lots of time with my new favorite friend!
Janet loved the beach while Elyana didn't know what to think of it!
You guys are going to have to come back soon (and bring Joe) cause we already miss you! Thanks for a super visit girls!

Trunk-or-treat

On Friday night we went to a trunk-or-treat pot luck at the church. We had some good chili and other yummy food and the kids had a great time dressing up and getting lots of candy.

Craft Marathon

While Janet was here we went a little crazy doing some craft projects. We surprisingly got most of what we wanted to accomplish done. We had some late nights and lots of lots of fun together! We decided it's probably a good thing that we aren't neighbors. We would have way to much fun being crafty together that we wouldn't get anything else done!

While I was on the phone...

While I was talking on the phone with my Uncle look what this little Missy did. She was so proud. And with a smile that big, I couldn't help but laugh and smile right back at her!

For you Mom

Megan and my Mom are pen pals. She put this post card for Daniel in Megan's letter that we got last week. Daniel loves getting mail and he wouldn't let go of his new letter for about 2 days. On the day he got it, he fell asleep with it in his hand. I thought it was precious and I had to post this picture for you Nana!

Take me out to the ball field

Daniel and Megan started baseball last week. They are doing a 7 week program on base and had a great first practice! It's really fun to have them enrolled together.

Here's our little baseball buddies!
Here's M practicing her batting skills!
Here's the group of us with Steen taking the picture.
Daniel gets so excited to just hit the ball so Steen helps him with his form sometimes!
Here's to a fun (and busy) next few weeks!

A spooky package

The other day we received a super fun Halloween package from Steen's Dad and his wife. The kids were thrilled to unload the box and find all kinds of goodies and decorations! Thanks so much Grandpa and Terry!

Score!

Last night Megan had a game and team pictures. I made all of the girls matching bows and they looked adorable. Megan also scored her first goal of the season, so she was way proud. Tomorrow Megan and Daniel are starting a 6 week round of baseball. I'm a little scared of seeing all the kids running around with bats and balls. It should be interesting! Pics to come...

Fishy

Meet the newest member of the Jensen family, Nemo Goldfish Jensen. The kids could not agree on one name, so he has many. We hope to have good luck in the fish department this time around. The kids love looking at him and feeding him in the morning before school. Natalie especially loves looking at him. Every time we go into the kitchen she roars like a lion and points up at him. It's pretty funny!

Say Cheese

This little girl knows all about the camera. Every time I whip it out this is the face that I get.

This N That...

We've been super busy the last few weeks. We've moved, unpacked, been busy with soccer, school, baby showers and birthday parties. The list could go on. Things are great though. We love our new house, the neighborhood, and the ease of getting Megan to and from school now. But just when you think that things are going to slow down a bit, the phone rings with someone needing something or you just look to next weeks calendar and you're busy again. That's ok though - being busy is good and it keep us Jensens out of trouble!

As we were unpacking the kids had a great time building a fort made of boxes.
Daniel called it his pirate ship and Megan called it her princess castle.
SOCCER - Tanner and Steen are doing a great job coaching the Purple Unicorns this season.
Megan getting ready to kick the ball in.
Here's 6 of the 8 Purple Unicorns. Aren't they so cute?!
Here's my favorite of them all.
Steen had the day off today so in honor of him and Megan being home we decided to head for the beach. We had a great time despite the water being a little green with algae. And Megan just loves the beach. She's a Florida beach babe for life!
The kids always make Tanner dig them holes in the sand.
Natalie loves the beach almost as much as Megan and Daniel. She's too cute for words!
