This week...

This week has been a nice and relaxing week at the Jensen house. The big craft day that I was in charge of on Saturday (Super Saturday) is now over and I am happy to say that it went well and that we all had a lot of fun. Steen is glad to have me back and not always on the phone or running around organizing the event! This week we have just been taking it easy and getting ready for the fall season that is suddenly upon us. Last week it was summer like weather and this week it feels like fall. I love decorating for the upcoming seasons! And this week the TV has been on just about every night. Between Heros, Ugly Betty, Survivor, Chuck, and some others - we are now a slave to the TV each night. Thank goodness for our DVR. Anyways, here are a few pics from around The Jensen house this week:

Daddy and the kids hanging out on the couch while I was making dinner on Monday. It was so cute that I had to take a pic of all of them.
Megan and I made zucchini bread and that huge thing is what we started with!
This is what Daniel looks like after being a cookie monster with a warm chocolate chip cookie. On the 24th Daniel hit 18 months. Watch out church nursery!
On Tuesday I was in the mood to sew - this is what I made. A Halloween themed table runner. I now want to make one for all the different seasons/holidays.
I hope you all are having a good week!

Ready...Set...Bake!

Last week I made the little missy this apron out of this way cute Robert Kaufman fabric. It's from his "Sweet Tooth" line and it is so cute. She really loves wearing it in the kitchen. I'm thinking about making myself a matching one! Now we just need to get baking some yummy treats!

Happy Birthday Mom!

Happy Birthday Mom!
Today is my Mom's birthday! Over the weekend we had a fun party for her at my Grandma's house. Here are some pics of her with the kidos and I. Of course Megan and Daniel had to help blow out the candles. The cake I made was pretty yummy and Grandma made a delicious ham dinner.
Happy Birthday Nana, we love you very much!

Huge Sunflowers!

Yesterday we were over at Steen's Mom's house and we thought it would be fun to take a pic of Megan and Uncle Anton in front of the huge sunflowers they have in the garden. Between Anton and Megan they are probably 9-10 feet tall or so and they still weren't even to close to reaching the top of the flowers!

The Phone

Lately Megan has been obsessed with talking on the phone. She loves to call her Nana or her Auntie Em in real life and she calls all sorts of people on her numerous play phones. Tonight when Steen and I went in to check on her this is what we found....
Sometimes talking on the phone really does poop you out!

Boys...

Last night when Steen was getting Daniel changed into his pajamas, this is what fell out of his pants and onesie...
One large rock and about a dozen small ones. The poor kid probably had those in his drawers for several hours. He must of somehow got them in his pants while we were outside hanging out in our backyard. Steen and I got a good laugh out of it. Daniel is such a boy!
Also, this is Daniels new favorite thing to do.
Get rides from Megan up and down our entry way in the play doll stroller. He says, WEEEEE the entire time he's being pushed.

Labor Day Weekend Trip

We started a new tradition this last weekend by going camping over Labor Day weekend. We went with our friends Aaron and Hoku Brewer and had a super great time together. We camped for three nights up at Mossyrock Campground. We ate lots of yummy food including way to many smores, went swimming, went up to Mt. Rainier and just had fun hanging around the campsite.

We made foil dinners the first night we were there. Here is The Brewers assembling their dinner. They turned out delicious!
Mommy and Daniel enjoying the warm campfire.
Megan all ready to go swimming with her new tube.
Daniel of course loved playing in the rocks and sand.
Megan going over the "Indiana Jones" bridge at Grove of the Patriarchs at Mt. Rainier.
Megan loved looking at all the huge trees.
The fam in front of a 1,000 year old tree.
Steen in front of the falls at Box Canyon.
Megan just loved spending the weekend with her little friend Malia.
The two redheads chillin' by a tree after a long and fun day of camping!
We sure had a great weekend with The Brewers and hope to have many more fun camping trips in the future with them.
