Strawberrylicious!

Today we were feeling a little adventurous and went to the strawberry fields to pick berries and have some family fun. About 16 pounds later and with lots of red juice stains on our shirts, we have successfully made tree batches of jam, a strawberry pie, sugared some berries and put them in the freezer and tomorrow we are going to make some chocolate dipped berries. I am pooped out, but it was worth all the fun we had and we will be enjoying our work today all year long! Strawberry jam is the best!

My little strawberry shortcake!
(Don't tell her teacher - Megan skipped school to join in on all the fun!!)
They had lots of animals at the strawberry patch too!
We really loved the peacock.
And Megan really loved petting the baby cow.

Happy Birthday D!

Daniel turned 4 years old on March 24th! We had a fun and very busy day. He started off the day with chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast, I gave him a birthday haircut, he took a big bubble bath and got to watch one of his favorite cartoons. For lunch we had two of his best buddies met up with us for some pizza and ice cream at a friends ice cream shop. The boys had a great time hanging out and eating together for Daniel's big day. We then came home and opened presents as a family and were off to the soccer field for team pictures and a game. After soccer we came home for cake and ice cream and then it was off to bed. Daniel had a wonderful fun filled day and is very excited to be a BIG 4 year old now!

Here's Daniel and his friends eating yellow Spongebob ice cream.

Here's the three kiddos at present opening time.

I caught the boys playing with their sisters Barbie collection during half time.

Here's the proud birthday boy with his chocolate cake with green frosting and sprinkles!

Yum yum! Just what I wanted - lots of chocolate!

Happy Birthday to our very special 4 year old Daniel!
