Baby Update

I am 38 weeks pregnant now. This whole pregnancy has been a little rough, but the end is in sight! I will be having this cute chubby guy next Thursday, 11-10-11 (11-11-11 is already booked full with inductions and c-sections) and we are all very excited about his arrival! Yesterday I had an ultrasound and here is a 4D pic of him. He currently weighs at least 7lbs 5oz. He looks like a Jensen baby for sure! We'll keep the updates coming for sure!

Trick or Treat!

We had a nice Halloween! Steen took the kids around the neighborhood with some friends and I sat on the porch and handed out lots of candy. The night was a success and the kids of course got way too much candy!!

Carving Pumpkins

On Saturday night the kids and Steen carved some pumpkins. It was was the first time since moving to FL that we carved pumpkins. They are kind of hard to find around here and are pretty spendy. Each of the kids got to design there own pumpkin. It was fun to see how they all turned out!

Megan and Daniel with Daniel's pumpkin. He wanted his to be scary!
Natalie wanted her pumpkin to look like a pirate. And here she is posing with her classic pirate face!
Megan wanted hers to be a vampire with eyebrows. And she wanted Steen to carve it on the kind of yucky side of the pumpkin. We had a great time and the kids were all happy with the finished products!

Water baby cowgirl!

The weather has been so wonderful the last week or so. It's finally that time to start playing outside. Almost everyday after school the kids ride bikes and run around the yard having fun. A few days ago I ran inside to get a drink of water and came out and found Natalie running around the driveway looking like this. She really is a silly one!

Palm Beach

I forgot to post the three pics we have from Palm Beach. We at this point had about 250 pics from our trip on our camera and then we lost it! These pics are from our phones. After leaving the Keys we drove through Miami which was really neat and we stayed in Palm Beach. At sunset we took the kids to dip there toes in the Atlantic. It was a nice temperature and a lovely sandy beach.

Mermaids and lots of them!

We stayed in Tampa on the way down to the Keys. So on our way down to Tampa we stopped at Wikki Watchee Springs State Park to see the famous mermaids who live there. We watched a show they put on and Megan loved every second of it!

The little mermaid.
We didn't get many shots of the show as it was hard to get a good pic through the bubbly glass. And they were pretty scantly dressed!

Wedding Festivities and More, Key Largo

Let me just say the Florida Keys are pretty darn amazing. We stayed at the cutest little Inn right on the water. The views were spectacular! Lots of hammocks, chairs, palms, and lizards. We were so glad we were able to celebrate David and Jen's wedding weekend with them. We are looking forward to going back to the Keys again sometime soon to do more exploring together as a family! Here are just a few pics (in no particular order) of our time in the Keys.

Orlando LDS Temple

No trip to Orlando is complete without a stop at the temple. The kids will always love looking at the temple grounds. It's always a sweet experience. And this time Megan for the first time said she wants to get married in Orlando instead of Portland like Mom and Dad....

Downtown Disney

While in Orlando we wanted to do something Disney related. We would have loved to have hit up Animal Kingdom, but I was not up for all that walking at 36 weeks pregnant! We decided Downtown Disney was more my pace so we went one afternoon and had a wonderful time. We did lots of shopping, we ate some really yummy food, and had fun looking at all the characters and taking in the sites. It was a super fun place and we'll defiantly have to go back again!

Marvin the Monkey

A few weeks ago Megan got to bring her class pet Marvin the monkey home for the weekend. You're supposed to do a fun activity with him and take a picture and write about it. So we asked Megan what she wanted to do and of course she said she wanted to go to Bippy's frozen yogurt. We had a great time eating yogurt as a family with Marvin!
