Fun week!

We have had a really good week! The weather has been just perfect. We've been hanging out in the pool in the backyard, going for walks and bike rides, and just getting used to having three kiddos around here! Little Natalie is doing so great. She is a very sweet baby. Megan and Daniel love holding her and helping Steen and I around the house!

We're Home!

Little Natalie is finally here! We are now home and are doing well. Here are some highlights from the last few days!

Daniel is finally warming up to Natalie. He spent a little time with her last night and did very well with her!

We are so happy to be home and are looking forward to getting some rest and then jumping back into the swing of life again! Megan and Daniel are coming home today from being at all the grandparents homes for the last few days, so we'll see what the next few days bring on!

Baby Natalie is here!!!

Hello everyone! This is Katie's friend Janet, updating for her.

Natalie Kate Jensen was born yesterday, May 22nd, at 1:37 PM. She was 9 pounds 7 ounces, and 21 inches long! She is a very happy baby and loves the bath! Katie and Steen are still at the hospital, and will probably be spending another night tonight. Katie had a rough day yesterday, but baby is here, so she is HAPPY!! I'll let her tell you all the details when she gets home!

24 hours and counting...

Tonight we dropped Megan off at my folks house and Daniel off at Steen's Mom's house. We are officially ready to have this baby! I have a 7am induction at the hospital in the morning. We are hoping that I will have another quick and easy delivery. We took this "family of 4" pic tonight before we left my parents house. Be looking for our newest family picture in a day or two!

Baby Update...

No baby news coming from the Jensen house...yet. Hopefully that will change in the next few days. I had an appointment on Thursday and my doctor said if I didn't go into labor by the weekend I was to come in on Monday morning. No baby came this weekend which means Steen and I are going into the doctor first thing in the morning! First on the agenda is talking about when I should get induced. We are hoping to go into the hospital Monday evening or Tuesday sometime. That's the update for now. Hopefully the next post on this blog will consist of cute pics of our new little red head with all the info on how things went! Until then....wish me luck!

Happy 4th Birthday Megan!

So yesterday, May 11th was Megan's 4th birthday! The first thing she said when she woke up was, "Mom, my hair and my bones grew. I am bigger now - like a 4 year old!" It was so cute. I'll have to say I don't think I've ever seen a little girl so excited to turn 4!

We had a super fun party and Nana & Opa's house. Emily and Mom did a great job at getting things all decorated for the big party!

Megan was spoiled with lots of princess things, dress up clothes, dolls, books, and toys.

Steen and I got her a princess bike. We gave it to her last and she sure loved it! We also got her a matching princess helmet, but apparently Megan has a large head cause the helmet didn't fit her!

Thanks Nana and Opa for putting on a super great party for Megan! We all had a great time and Megan loved every minute of the party!

Jensen Update!

The Jensens are still alive and kick'n. We have been super busy lately. Here's what we've been up to this month... Katie took a fall at her friends house and sprained her ankle - about 48 hours later she came down with the flew. She was out for a few days but actually liked having some down time for once!

Sweet Steen went to the Oregon Zoo with his Dad, Nancy and the kiddos. Everyone had a great time and Katie enjoyed a nice quiet house for several hours! Megan's favorite animal this trip was the Lepercans (leopards) and Daniel loved seeing the crocodile and elephants.

Then we made a last minute decision and decided to have a garage sale last weekend. Luckily it was quite successful. Steen got a clean garage that is now also missing Katie's beloved armoire and we made a decent amount of money. We were happy!

Between Katie's weekly OB check-ups, both kids birthday check-ups and Daniel currently having a double ear infection (which required another trip the doctor) we are hoping to be done with the doctor until the baby comes!

Katie has also been busy sewing and finishing up last minute projects around the house in preparation for our new little arrival. We hope that this baby will be here by next weekend so everyone put your orders in for that to happen!
