We packed up the van and went to the beach on Wednesday and Thursday! With the kiddos birthdays and a baby coming soon we decided that we too needed to take a little spring break! We started off the trip with a tour of the Tillamook Cheese Factory and enjoyed some delicious ice cream cones - yummy! Then we headed down highway 101 and made our way to Lincoln City where we stayed the night. The weather was perfect on Wednesday! We were able to spend most of the afternoon outside. We saw whales in the far distance in Depot Bay, we went to Devils Punch Bowl State Park, ate some chowder at Mo's and spent some time on the beach playing with the kids. On Thursday we went to the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport. The kids had a great time looking at the sharks, seals, jelly fish, and all the other cool things at the aquarium!!

Sounds like such a fun trip! I really miss the coast of the Pacific Northwest and can't wait to plan our own trip up there... Happy Spring!
